Help Us Open Doors

Community Lodgings Open House

Community Lodgings' Family Learning Center held its first "Open House" on Wednesday, December 8th and Thursday, December 9th, 2005 from 3-6pm.		The highlight of the event was the dedication of the Learning Center reading room in memory of Rita Brown, former Executive Director, caseworker and founder of the Learning Center.
	The children were on their best behavior. Staff and board members eagerly welcomed guests to show off our programs. Over forty supporters, including many city officials, took time from their busy schedules to visit.

Fall Back to Musical Moods

	The Fall Back Event was a success thanks to the diligent work of our co-chairs, Tara Knox and Jeanne Wallace, the creativity of publicist Stephanie Lynch, and the generosity of our silent auction donors, we raised close to $17,000.
Music was provided by the Gonzaga High School Jazz Ensemble. Joe Hannon on piano, Matt Shuster on bass, Mark Benson on drums, Kevin Reynolds on the saxophone and Peter Wallace on guitar.
	All Proceeds from event go towards providing transitional housing and education for both children and adults in need.
